Public Records Request form
The King County Council is committed to responding to your request for public records in an efficient and prompt manner. In order for us to process your request, we need a clear, specific description of the records that you would like.
There is no charge for inspecting records, If you wish to have copies made of any records, there are copying charges of $0.15 per page for black and white 8-1/2x11” copies. Other copies are charged at the cost of materials. You will be informed of the total copying charges. If you are unable to pick up your copies, you may prepay for the copies and postage and have the documents mailed to you. We require all fees to be paid prior to copying your documents. Cash and checks are currently the only accepted forms of payment.
We will respond to your request within five business days (excluding holidays) of receiving your request, with an estimate of the time we anticipate it will take to comply with your request.
