2010 Updates to the King County Comprehensive Plan

Ordinances 16949-16950

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan King County Council (the Council) held a public hearing in the Council Chambers on the 10th Floor of the King County Courthouse (516 Third Avenue, Seattle, WA) on Monday, September 20, 2010 beginning at 11:00 AM. The purpose of this public hearing was to consider adoption of Proposed Ordinance (PO) 2010-0163 (Ordinance 16949) which makes technical revisions to the King County Comprehensive Plan, as well as Proposed Ordinance (PO) 2010-0164 (Ordinance 16950) which makes technical and substantive changes to the County's development regulations. Ordinances 16949 and 16950 were adopted on October 18, 2010.

SUMMARY:

Proposed updates to the KCCP were transmitted by the King County Executive on March 1, 2010 and reviewed by the Environment and Transportation Committee (the Committee). The Committee completed its recommendation on July 27, 2010. Council held the public hearing on these ordinances on September 20, 2010 and took final action on them on October 18, 2010.
