NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the King County Flood Control District (the District) Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers on the 10th Floor of the King County Courthouse (516 Third Avenue, Seattle Washington) on the 11th day of July 2011 at 1:30 p.m. The

purpose of this public hearing is to consider adoption of a revised 2011 budget for the District.

During the 2011 budget deliberations in November 2010, the Flood Control Zone District Board of Supervisors instructed the Flood Control Advisory Committee to make recommendations for prioritizing capital projects to provide for funding the City of Seattle Seawall flood control project, and to provide for the effects of levy pro-rationing costs. The Advisory Committee transmitted those recommendations to the Flood District and the Executive Committee of the Flood District reviewed those recommendations at their June 27, 2011 meeting. In addition, the Water & Land Resources Division transmitted 2011 budget carry-forward funds and technical corrections for Board approval.

The 2011 revised budget proposal is available in the King County Council Clerk’s office, Room 1200, King County Courthouse, 516 Third Avenue, Seattle Washington.
