KING COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

NOTICE OF HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the King County Flood Control District (the District) Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers on the 10th Floor of the King County Courthouse (516 Third Avenue, Seattle Washington) on the 12th day of April 2010 at 1:30 p.m. The purpose of this public hearing is to consider adoption of a revised 2010 budget for the District.

During the 2010 budget deliberations in November 2009, the Flood Control Zone District Board of Supervisors instructed the Flood Control Advisory Committee to make recommendations for reprioritizing capital projects in light of damages from the presidentially declared disaster arising from January 2009 winter storm flooding. The Advisory Committee transmitted those recommendations to the Flood District and the executive Committee of the Flood District reviewed those recommendations at their March 22, 2010 meeting. In addition, the Water & Land Resources Division transmitted 2010 budget technical corrections for Board approval.

The 2010 revised budget proposal is available in the King County Council Clerk’s office, Room 1039, King County Courthouse, 516 Third Avenue, Seattle Washington.
