NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan King County Council of King County, Washington, will hold a public hearing in the Council Chamber, Room 1001, King County Courthouse, Seattle, Washington on November 8, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. to consider the following proposed ordinances relating to changes of fees:

Proposed Ordinance 2010-0531 AN ORDINANCE relating to the Seattle-King County department of public health; establishing fees under the authority of K.C.C. 2.99.030 for certain medical examiner documents to align revenues to associated costs; and amending Ordinance 15952, Section 2, and K.C.C. 2.24.135 and Ordinance 11137, Section 1 (part), as amended, and K.C.C. 4.88.010 and adding a new section to K.C.C. Title 4.

Proposed Ordinance 2010-0532 AN ORDINANCE regarding surface water management; revising surface water management service charges; and amending Ordinance 7590, Section 8, as amended, K.C.C. 9.08.070 and Ordinance 7590, Section 9, as amended, and K.C.C. 9.08.080.

Proposed Ordinance 2010-0533 AN ORDINANCE relating to department of judicial administration fees; amending Ordinance 13330, Section 16, as amended, and K.C.C. 4.71.050.

Proposed Ordinance 2010-0534 AN ORDINANCE related to service fees to participants of the continuing legal education program provided by the department of judicial administration; and amending Ordinance 13330, Section 24, and K.C.C. 4.71.090.

Proposed Ordinance 2010-0535 AN ORDINANCE relating to department of judicial administration fees; and adding a new section to K.C.C. chapter 4.83.

Proposed Ordinance 2010-0536 AN ORDINANCE increasing the fee for nonidentifying adoption searches performed by the family court services division of King County superior court as authorized by RCW 26.12.220; and amending Ordinance 14791, Section 2, and K.C.C. 4.72.026.

Proposed Ordinance 2010-0537 AN ORDINANCE authorizing the superior court to charge a user fee of up to twenty dollars per visit with the superior court adoption paralegal for assistance related to adoptions, as authorized under RCW 26.12.220; and adding a new section to K.C.C. chapter 4.72.

Proposed Ordinance 2010-0538 AN ORDINANCE relating to the Seattle-King County department of public health; establishing fees under K.C.C. 2.99.030 for certain documents and for certain notary services to align revenues to associated costs; and adding a new chapter to K.C.C. Title 4.

Proposed Ordinance 2010-0539 AN ORDINANCE authorizing the superior court to charge a registration fee of seventy-five dollars for each individual who attends a parenting seminar after sixty days of filing for dissolutions of marriage, legal separation, noncustody actions and other parentage actions in which parentage has been established; and to charge a fee of forty dollars for a each individual who attends the seminar before sixty days of the filings as authorized under RCW 26.12.220; and adding a new section to K.C.C. chapter 4.72.

Proposed Ordinance 2010-0540 AN ORDINANCE relating to the medical examiner's office; establishing fees under RCW 70.58.230 for certain medical examiner services to align revenues to associated costs; and amending Ordinance 15952, Section 2, and K.C.C. 2.24.135.
