METROPOLITAN KING COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 2010-0258
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a public hearing will be held before the Metropolitan King County Council, Room 1001, King County Courthouse, Seattle, Washington, on the 17th day of May, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., to consider adoption of Proposed Substitute Ordinance 2010-0258, which authorizes the condemnation of the fee title to an existing road right of way through King County Assessor’s Tax Parcel No. 1124079028. SUMMARY Tax Parcel No. 1124079028 is the subject of Proposed Substitute Ordinance 2010-0258. The parcel is located in unincorporated King County, in the vicinity of Fall City. The ordinance authorizes the condemnation of the fee title to an existing road right of way over the parcel, for public highway purposes, including permanent public access to a regionally significant railroad corridor “railbanked” under the federal Rails to Trails Act, 16 U.S.C. 1247(d), within council district three. The Metropolitan King County Council plans to take final action at the meeting on May 17, 2010, by voting whether to adopt Proposed Substitute Ordinance 2010-0258.
