METROPOLITAN KING COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF HEARING Proposed Substitute Ordinance 2009-0509 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan King County Council will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers on the 10th Floor of the King County Courthouse (516 Third Avenue, Seattle Washington) on Monday, the 26th day of October 2009 at 1:30 p.m. The purpose of this public hearing is to consider adoption of Proposed Substitute Ordinance 2009-0509 relating to standards for the recognition of legal lots. King County encourages public comment on Proposed Substitute Ordinance 2009-0509. You may wish to present oral testimony at the October 26th public hearing. Testimony is limited to three minutes per speaker and you may provide written copies for the Councilmembers’ review. Please provide 20 copies of any written material you wish to submit. Please call the Metropolitan King County Council offices at (206) 296-1000 if you need directions to the Courthouse. You may also mail or fax comments to Councilmembers. SUMMARY Proposed Substitute Ordinance 2009-0509 would amend KCC 19A.08.070 to require that: - Approved sewage disposal, water or road to have been provided to the property not later than January 1, 2000, and
- A road (excluding forest roads) must either:
- Have been accepted by the King County Department of Transportation for maintenance, or
- Be located in an easement or road right-of-way and comply with the King County Road Standards in effect at the time it was constructed.
