METROPOLITAN KING COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF HEARING Proposed Substitute Ordinance 2009-0262 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a public hearing will be held before the Metropolitan King County Council, Room 1001, King County Courthouse, Seattle, Washington, on the 15th day of June, 2009, at 11:00 a.m., to consider adoption of the following proposed ordinance: SUMMARY Proposed Substitute Ordinance 2009-0262 would provide King County with the authority to enforce parking fee payment at Marymoor Park. The ordinance establishes enforcement activities which may include penalty fees, and vehicle immobilization or towing of vehicles in the event of repeat offenses. The ordinance also establishes an appeals process and provides for a rounding up of future parking fees so that the amount required would be in whole dollar increments. The ordinance is proposed to take effect ten days after the ordinance is signed by the Executive. A copy of Proposed Substitute Ordinance 2009-0262 will be mailed upon request to the Clerk of the Council, Room W1039, King County Courthouse, 516 Third Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104. This notice is given in accordance with the provisions of RCW 36.32.120(7) and provides penalties for the violation of the provisions thereof. DATED at Seattle, Washington this 3rd day of June, 2009.
