| METROPOLITAN KING COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF ADOPTION Ordinance No. 16687 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan King County Council (the Council) held a public hearing in the Council Chambers on the 10th Floor of the King County Courthouse (516 Third Avenue, Seattle, WA) on Monday, October 26, 2009, beginning at 1:30 p.m. The purpose of this public hearing was to consider adoption of Proposed Substitute Ordinance 2009-0509 (Ordinance 16687) relating to standards for the recognition of legal lots.
SUMMARY: Proposed Substitute Ordinance 2009-0509 amends KCC 19A.08.070 to require that: - Approved sewage disposal, water or road to have been provided to the property not later than January 1, 2000, and
- A road (excluding forest roads) must either:
- Have been accepted by the King County Department of Transportation for maintenance, or
- Be located in an easement or road right-of-way and comply with the King County Road Standards in effect at the time it was constructed.
