Michael J. Trickey

Judge Michael J. Trickey has served on the King County Superior Court since 1996. He is the Presiding Judge for 2006-2007. He is the President Judge of the statewide Superior Court Judges' Association for 2005-2006.
He has worked in the King County superior court's civil department, juvenile court, adult drug diversion court, and Unified Family Court. He was the Chief Judge at the Regional Justice Center for 2004-2005. He is a past chair of the court's Technology Committee. He is active in various committees dealing with electronic court records and e-filing of court documents.
Judge Trickey was graduated from the University of Washington School Of Law in 1979. He received his undergraduate education at the University of California , Berkeley and at Claremont McKenna College . He was in private practice for fourteen years before becoming a judge.
