BoggsFormer VP & Corporate Controller Microsoft CorporationScott Boggs is an Adjunct Professor at Seattle University's Albers School of Business and Economics where he teaches graduate and undergraduate classes in accounting information systems, and management and financial accounting. Previously he was Vice President, Corporate Controller of Microsoft Corporation where he was responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting and accounting worldwide, and information technology services for finance, human resources, legal and corporate services. Mr. Boggs is currently a director of HomeStreet Bank and serves on the Audit and Finance Committees. He has also served on the boards of Cascade Natural Gas Corporation, the SAFECO family of mutual funds, and the Financial Executives Research Foundation, an affiliate of Financial Executives International. He started his career in public accounting with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte and Touche) after graduating from the University of Washington in 1977. Mr. Boggs lives in Redmond, Washington, with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys photography, bicycling, and motorsport. |
