Gym Discount Program
Information for gyms wanting to offer a discount to King County employees
Gym Discount Program Overview and Goals
The King County Gym Discount Program partners with facilities throughout the Puget Sound. Gyms vary in types of services provided, membership costs, and location. Gyms participate on a voluntary basis. Employees, retirees and their dependents must pay all membership costs.
King County promotes partners and discounts offered to employees throughout the year in a variety of ways, including in employee newsletters and on our website. Once a year, King County also hosts a Gym Discount Program open house, where partner organizations are invited to come showcase their offerings.
To participate in the Gym Discount Program, gyms must be able to accommodate at least 25 individuals at a time, offer the discount for one calendar year to all King County employees, their family members and retirees, and offer a range of services and programs. If you are interested in participating, contact us at HealthyIncentives@kingcounty.gov.
Membership in these gyms is voluntary on the part of employees, retirees and families. King County neither advocates nor recommends any particular club or facility, nor endorses specific programs or business practices. King County will not be liable for any personal injury, property damage, or theft that may occur as a result of an individual participating in any club or gymnasium that is referenced in this site. King County does not guarantee the rates/fees or discounts.
