When he's not in the district or at meetings, Councilmember Phillips works in his office on the 12th floor of the King County Courthouse.

As a King County Councilmember, my job is to represent citizens of Council District Four, which includes the greater Queen Anne, Magnolia, Ballard, Downtown and Capitol Hill neighborhoods in Seattle (please see district map, [pdf, 574KB]). I am here to advocate for your interests, hear your concerns and suggestions, and keep you informed about aspects of King County government that affect you.
In helping shape the priorities for King County's future, my goal is to protect services that citizens value such as safe communities; the human services safety net; clean water, air, and environment; and preservation of the parks and open space that previous generations had the wisdom to set aside.
I also represent your interests on a number of regional committees outside of the King County Council, such as the Sound Transit Board and the Water Resource Inventory Area 8 Forum. For a complete list of my committee participation, please see my committees page.
Please contact me at 206-296-1004 or larry.phillips@kingcounty.gov with any suggestions you have to offer about King County's services. I appreciate your involvement in helping steer King County's future.
