I was honored to be unanimously elected by my colleagues as Chair of the Council for 2004, and unanimously re-elected as chair for 2005 and 2006. During my tenure as chair, I worked to make the King County Council more bipartisan, more action-oriented, and more responsive to the needs of the people of King County.
