| Staying in touch with the communities of District Four is my highest priority as a representative. I value regular communication with residents and community groups and enjoy staying in touch through community newspapers and newsletters.
I have helped secure county funding for parks in District Four ranging in size from pocket parks and p-patches, to funding for improvements to Discovery Park. I have also helped secure funding for District Four senior centers, food banks, family centers, capital projects like McCaw Hall and the Seattle Aquarium expansion, and many other human service agencies and arts groups. This funding is a vital component to preserving and improving the quality of life in our community.
