I was joined by the Rev. Dr. Samuel McKinney, Pastor Emeritus of the Mount Zion Baptist Church, in a special recognition honoring the visit of his college classmate, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on the 50th Anniversary of Dr. King's only visit to the County that now bears his name.

(From left) Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, Anne Levinson, one of the four partners who help keep the Storm in Seattle in 2008, former Washington Governor and U.S. Ambassador to China Gary Locke with his wife Mona, Senator Patty Murray, Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn, and Ron Sims, former Deputy Director of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
