King County Council District 1 spans six cities in North King County and features some of the finest parks in the country. The District runs from the shores of Puget Sound at Richmond Beach to Magnuson Park on Lake Washington and from Green Lake in North Seattle through Saint Edward Park and across Bothell Landing to Woodinville wine country. The District is home to 192,873 residents who live in farm houses, urban apartment buildings, seaside cottages and suburban cul-de-sacs.
