Metro VanPool vehicle and passengers

District 8 Community Spotlight

District Eight awards 3 retired Metro vans

Each year, King County Councilmembers donate retired Metro VanPool vehicles to non-profits and local governments throughout King County to help meet the transportation needs of individuals with disabilities, young people, seniors, and low-income residents. By donating the vans, they continue to serve the public in their new life with non-profit organizations that help local residents. Contact these three organizations or any of our Community Spotlight organizations to find out more about volunteering and supporting your District Eight communities.
