Hours

Open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, except for holidays. King County Superior Court is also closed on non-judicial days.

Security screening

You will pass through a security screening checkpoint as you enter the King County Courthouse. Certain items may not be brought into the facility and must be left with security personnel at the checkpoint before you enter. From the south

  1. Take I-5 Northbound
  2. Take exit 164A, following signs to James Street.
  3. Take James Street exit
  4. Turn left on James Street
  5. Courthouse entrances are on Third and Fourth Avenues, just south of James.

From the north

  1. Take I-5 Southbound
  2. Take exit 165A toward James Street
  3. Continue on 6th Avenue
  4. Turn right on James Street
  5. Courthouse entrances are on Third and Fourth Avenues, just south of James.

From I-90 west

  1. Take I-90 Westbound
  2. Take exit 2C right, I-5 Northbound
  3. Take exit 165A toward James Street
  4. Continue on 6th Avenue
