Fourth of July schedule: What's open, what's closed

King County government offices will observe Independence Day on Friday,  July 4 and will be closed. All offices will be back on a normal schedule Monday, July 7.

• On July 4, most Metro Transit buses will operate on Sunday schedules. 
• Garbage collection operates on a normal pick-up schedule; transfer stations will be open. Call your garbage collection service provider for recycling pick-up information.
