Fourth of July schedule: What's open, what's closed
King County government offices will be closed for Independence Day on Monday, July 4. All offices will be back on a normal schedule Tuesday, July 5.
On July 4, most Metro Transit, including water taxi's, will operate on alternate schedules.
Garbage collection operates on a normal pick-up schedule; transfer stations will be open. Call your garbage collection service provider for recycling pick-up information.
